Gertrude Caroline Ederle

How can you describe the importance of being #determined at work ?

There is no example better than Gertrude Ederle.

This German woman immigrated to America in the 1920s and without any special inclination or training became a swimming champion. However, winning gold medals is not enough in order to be the best.In fact, Gertrude decided to swim across the English Channel. She was the first woman to succeed this challenge.

Thanks to her determination, training and perseverance, Ederle crossed the English Channel beating by 2 hours the previous record held by a man.

Perhaps this can be a useful example to anyone who wants to create something new: it is not necessary to be fully prepared at the beginning. If someone works towards the right direction, this will affect the end result.
